RenewExpress™ Terms of Service
RenewExpress™ Service Agreement
By using the RenewExpress™ service, you are agreeing to abide by this service agreement between you and Grant Street Group, the provider of RenewExpress.
Scope of Service
You may use RenewExpress to renew motor vehicle registrations. You agree that you will use this service only to renew registrations in your name, or with authorization of the registered owner. You agree that you will not use this service to search for registrations for which you are neither the registered owner nor authorized by the registered owner.
If you wish to file a change of address, to request custom license plates, to renew your driver's license, or perform other actions outside this scope of service, you must either use the DHSMV's web site or visit a Alachua County Tax Collector's office.
MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, and American Express® are all accepted forms of payment. Electronic checks (e-checks) are also accepted.
The convenience fee is $2.50 for each transaction paid by credit or debit card and $1.00 for each transaction paid by e-check. Convenience fees will be clearly displayed in your shopping cart before you check out. You will have the option to continue or cancel the transaction at that time. The description on your bank or credit card statement for these transactions will include an abbreviation of the Government Agency. The Government Agency does not receive any part of the convenience fee.
Use of Email Address
As part of the RenewExpress service, we will email a confirmation of the transaction payment using the email address you provided. Grant Street Group is not responsible for invalid email addresses entered by users. Your email address will not be sold, disclosed to third parties, or used to send unsolicited commercial email (spam). You may receive future emails specifically pertaining to your motor vehicle registration(s).
